CEFQUINEX 25

• COMPOSITION
  Each ml contains:
  Cefquinome (as sulfate) - 25 mg

  INDICATION
  Cefquinome is used to treat bacterial infections in cattle, calves, pigs, and piglets caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. In cattle, it is indicated for respiratory disease, foot infections, and acute E. coli mastitis. In calves, it is used for E. coli septicaemia. In pigs, it treats respiratory infections and MMA syndrome, while in piglets it reduces mortality from meningitis and is effective against arthritis and epidermitis.

  DOSAGE
  Shake well before use
  For intramuscular (IM) administration
  Cattle: 
  Respiratory disease: 2 ml/ 50 kg B.W once daily for 3–5 days.
  Acute mastitis: 2 ml/50 kg B..W. once daily for 2 consecutive days.
  Calves: 4 ml/50 kg B.W. once daily for 3 or 5 consecutive days.
  Pigs:
  Respiratory disease: 2 ml/25 kg B.W. once daily for 3 consecutive days.
  M.M.A: 2 ml/25 kg B.W, once daily for 2 consecutive days.
  Piglets: 2 ml/25 kg, once daily for 5 consecutive days.

  WITHDRAWAL PERIODS
  For meat and offal: 
  Cattle: 5 days
  Pigs: 3 days
  For milk: 24 hours

  CONTRAINDICATION
  Do not administer to animals less than 1.25 kg body weight.
  Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
