AMOXILAV

• COMPOSITION
  Each 1 g:
  Amoxicillin trihydrate: 500 mg
  Acid clavulanic: 125 mg

  INDICATION
  AMOXILAV is used as a therapeutic agent for pigs and poultry with escherichiosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and other infections of the gastrointestinal, respiratory tract and urinary tract caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.

  DOSAGE
  Pigs and poultry (broilers, replacements, goslings, turkey poults, ducklings) via feed, water, or milk for 3–5 days: 
  Poultry <10 days: 5 g/100 L water; 
  Poultry >10 days, 10 g/100 L water (≈0.04 g/kg BW); 
  Pigs, 0.4–1 g/50 kg BW twice daily. 
  Animals must only drink medicated water, refreshed every 24 h.

  WITHDRAWAL PERIODS
  Chicken: 8 days
  Pigs: 21 days

  CONTRAINDICATION
  Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any excipient.
  Not for use in birds producing or intended to produce eggs for human consumption. 
  Must not be used simultaneously with sulfonamides, antibiotics of the tetracycline group, amphenicols, macrolides and lincosamides.
